Local Transport Company located in Alliston is seeking Warehouse Labour for a temporary contract. Candidates will be responsible for the movement and storage of materials and products within the warehouse as well as assisting with inventory counts.
Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading:
Receiving shipments from delivery trucks and loading finished products for delivery.
- Material Movement:
Manually moving materials within the facility.
- Storage and Organization:
Placing materials in designated locations, such as shelves or bins, to maintain an organized workspace
- Inventory
Assisting with inventory counts
- Safety Compliance:
Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations for handling materials, especially hazardous ones.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: The ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in record-keeping and material handling.
