Local Just-in-Time (JIT) automotive warehouse requires Material Handler/Certified Forklift Operator for ongoing temporary assignment. Candidates must be flexible to work day and afternoon shifts. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work as a member of a fast-paced team essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Feeding: Transporting parts directly from receiving or warehouse storage to staging areas.
- Loading/Unloading: Operating forklifts to quickly unload incoming materials and load outbound shipments.
- Inventory Management: Utilizing RF scanners, performing cycle counts, and managing inventory accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to strict safety standards, including proper pallet stacking.
Requirements and Skills
- Certification: Valid forklift license (Counterbalance/Raymond Reach)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime or weekends as required.
Hourly Rate: $20 per hour.
