NT Temps recruits to fill temporary and permanent positions across Simcoe County.

Why NT Temps?

We have short-term work if you are between jobs, flexible hours to help you increase your income to pay for business start-up expenses, help you build your resume while you find your dream job and we can offer long-term permanent opportunities to start your dream job. NT Temps has local work in your area, including, New Tecumseth, Bradford West Gwillimbury, Adjala-Tosorontio, Essa, Innisfil, and across Simcoe County and York Region. We welcome applicants ages 16 years or older and applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for all candidates taking part in the selection process. There is no fee to register with us. Your only commitment is to stay in contact with us to keep us up to date on your availability and the type of work you are looking for. Positions vary from short to long term. We are here to work with you to find what type of employment is suitable for your needs. We offer, but are not limited to, industrial, construction, customer service, and administrative positions.

Once you are registered with us, we can help you find local work at your convenience. You can send us a message directly by clicking the message button on our home page to let us know when you are available for work. Sending us messages will help us find the right job for you. We will always return your message with a reply or call before the end of the day. If you are not on Facebook, you can still contact us by telephone at 705-435-1540.

Our Facebook Page will inform you of job postings across Simcoe County and York Region, up-to-date workplace Health and Safety information, and training opportunities. 

NT Temps Ambassador Program

Once you sign up with NT Temps you are invited to apply to be an NT Temps Ambassador to start earning extra money on your weekly paycheques! Once your application is approved, we stay connected with you to help you earn your bonuses. The program allows you to earn an extra $50 on your paycheque for each person you refer to work with us. On your 10th referral, we will make that $100 to acknowledge your commitment to the program. NT Temps will provide you with promotional material to help you recruit and find referrals so you can continue to increase your weekly income. You are required to be an employee of NT Temps to participate but you don’t have to be on assignment to continue to send us referrals. It is a great way to continue to make money working part-time hours! Some rules apply.

Where to Register

You can visit our office at 39 Victoria St E, Alliston ON, and pick up an application.  When your application is complete we will schedule an appointment for you.  

Alliston office hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

How to Prepare for Your Interview

Being prepared for your interview is the first step in helping NT Temps find the right jobs for you. The following is a list of things that you can do to make that happen:

  • Fill in all fields on the application form
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes early to review our Health and Safety policies
  • Bring an updated resume
  • Make sure to bring all licenses or certificates that you have received (ie. WHMIS, Forklift Certification, etc.)
  • Have your Social Insurance Number available
  • Bring three references from past employers, volunteer experience, or teachers
  • Be prepared to spend up to two hours during your interview for Health and Safety training

If you do not have all of the items on the list, just let NT Temps know when you schedule your appointment. We are happy to work with you to help get you out to work.

Workplace Violence and Harassment Policy

NT Temps Inc. is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for employees, visitors and clients. We will not tolerate behaviour that intimidates, threatens, harasses, abuses, injures or otherwise victimizes our employees and will take whatever steps are appropriate and reasonable to protect our employees from potential risks associated with workplace violence and harassment, including sexual harassment.

Workplace violence and harassment, are serious issues that affect all business sectors and occupations. It affects the safety and security of every employee and employer. When someone experiences violence or harassment in the workplace, it can undermine their sense of personal dignity, prevent them from earning a living, doing their job effectively and reaching their full potential.

Employer Commitment

The management and staff of NT Temps Inc. are committed to promoting a safe and healthy work environment and protecting employees from workplace violence and harassment. We will ensure that appropriate procedures are in place to minimize the risk to our employees from violence and harassment, and that employees are trained in recognizing and responding to situations involving workplace violence and harassment. As well, we will ensure that staff members are aware of their rights and responsibilities as they relate to prevention of workplace violence and harassment. NT Temps Inc. will ensure incidents of workplace violence and harassment are investigated.

Employee Commitment

It is the responsibility of each employee to be aware of and follow procedures that are in place to protect them from workplace violence and harassment. Employees are required to immediately report all incidents of workplace violence and harassment to their work site supervisor and to NT Temps Inc. Employees will not be penalized, reprimanded or in any way criticized when acting in good faith by bringing forward a complaint or providing information regarding a complaint or incident of workplace violence or harassment.
